This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the Gastronaut Guide website at gastronautguide.com (the “Site”), how it is used and what rights you have. Gastronaut Guide is a Gastronaut Group brand.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address and message; when you sign up for the newsletter we receive your email address. We use this only to reply to you and to send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site your browser sends certain technical information (such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and time of visit). This is used to run and secure the Site and to understand visitor numbers.
Information kept only on your device. Lists you create with “My Lists”, your light/dark theme choice and your cookie notice choice are stored in your browser’s local storage and are not sent to us. A shared list link contains only the list name and the page addresses of the venues.

The Site is hosted on Shopify; traffic and form data are processed on Shopify’s servers (Shopify Privacy Policy). Map tiles on the Map page are loaded from Esri, fonts from Google Fonts and flag icons from jsDelivr. These services can see your IP address in order to deliver content to your browser.
Links on venue pages to Google Maps, Instagram and similar services take you to other websites; we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Keeping and sharing information
We do not sell your personal information. It is kept only for the purposes described above, for as long as those purposes require, and is not shared with third parties unless required by law.
Your rights
Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the laws of your country, you have the right to learn whether information about you is processed, to access it, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. You can write to us at the address below.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
