Fish & chips is one of the first dishes that comes to mind when you think of England. The Mayfair Chippy is among the addresses that do it properly. The menu offers haddock or hake. Since I like a deeper fish flavour, I go for the haddock. Mushy peas, tartare sauce and gravy alongside are wonderful companions.
