The address of one of the best Karadeniz döners I have eaten in İstanbul: Sürmene Döner. With meat sliced wafer-thin and cooked perfectly, it really does make a difference. The pilav, heavy with butter, is another thing you have to try. My advice is to go before the rush begins, without letting 12.30 slip past.
