With a garden that makes you feel you have left the city behind, Sekizdeyiz is one of my favourite addresses on the avenue for rakı and meze. The meats are every bit as good as the mezes. The chicken wings in particular are, to my mind, the signature plate of the place. As a hot starter, do make sure you try the lahmacun. The tequila and şalgam shots they bring round during the meal add a fun touch that feels particular to here.
