Do not tell me nobody would choose red meat over seafood in the summer months. Sayfiye is one of those restaurants I would happily visit in all four seasons. The smoked aubergine with tahini gets the hot starters off to a fine start. The Başpınar lahmacun is so large that the four of us shared it comfortably. One of the best yaprak ciğer I have eaten in İzmir was here as well. The lamb, the küşleme and yağlıkara above all, had been cooked flawlessly.
