Barkın Erdem does not keep the word pırlanta to the name over his shop alone; with a way of trading that is every bit as fine as the stone, he makes shopping here a real pleasure. This may well be the butcher's where I have spent the most time in my life. All sorts of little treats and a good chat over tea take it beyond being merely a place to shop. Now to the food… Both the lamb and the beef here are as good and as full of flavour as each other. You can also pick up your staples, the eggs, olives and cheeses that come in specially from every region, with complete peace of mind.
