Ortaya
Rehberin Notları
Ortaya Alaçatı is one of the addresses where I most enjoy eating in the market streets. With its own particular atmosphere and a menu built on modern readings, it is possible to find something for every palate. The meze tray, whose contents change each season, would be enough on its own for a good evening. My favourite on the tray is the Çerkez tavuğu. This version, made with green apple, red onion, sun-dried tomato and homemade mayonnaise, is one of the best Çerkez tavuğu I have eaten to date. The Adana Sando carries the classic Adana kebabı into a different form with a touch of isot mayonnaise, and makes for a very filling option. After the meal, do not forget to stop by Ortay Dükkan just nearby and pick up the warm, crisp boyoz from Alsancak Dostlar Fırını, fresh out of the oven.
