The best kalkan I have eaten in İstanbul was without doubt at Misina Balık. The mezes here did not really speak to me, but the seafood is outstanding. You must try the balık kebabı, a different form of the fish köfte. The kalkan tandır, meanwhile, never disappoints. And the few spoonfuls of collagen that arrive at the end are a thing entirely of their own...
