Lokanta 1937 makes one of the best döners I have eaten, serving its guests a legendary Karadeniz döner six days a week from 11.00 onwards. When you ask the master behind the counter "what makes this döner so good?", the first thing he says is "using quality meat and quality ingredients". The döner is a little fattier than the ones I am used to, but it goes very well with tırnak ekmek and pilav.
