La Pergola holds a place of its own for me, because this is where I proposed to my wife. It is Rome's only three Michelin star restaurant, and the plates signed by chef Heinz Beck give you an unforgettable experience from beginning to end. There are even salt and water menus here. I would suggest visiting in the summer months and sitting outside, so that you get Rome's incomparable view along with it.
