Kıyı Restaurant

Rehberin Notları

Kıyı Restaurant is one of those Tarabya classics that has not changed in years. With its view over the Bosphorus, its polished service and its very fresh seafood, it is a fine address for a long lunch in particular. Among the mezes that arrived at the table, the fasulye pilaki and the aubergine salad stood out. Both are successful versions of classic recipes in which the ingredients are kept to the fore. The fried calamari we chose as a hot starter more than met our expectations, soft in texture with a lightly crisp coating. For the main course the plainly cooked sea bass was the right choice, putting its freshness forward. We closed with şekerpare. The texture was just right and the syrup was well balanced. I found the citrus touch original.
