Kendime is one of İstanbul's hidden gems, and the moment you step inside you can feel that you are in for a good evening. I would say they have outdone themselves where seafood is concerned. After a lovely start of caviar butter with lavender and rosemary bread, the plates that follow are a feast for the eye as much as for the stomach. The white chocolate mousse offered at the close rounds off the meal in the best possible way. Apostol is the cocktail that suits the food best, but afterwards I would suggest trying the Elali.
