The best baklava I have ever eaten is, without question, at Karaköy Güllüoğlu. Carrying their singular flavours to countries like Japan and Germany, and introducing an important part of Turkish cuisine to the world, deserves real admiration. Everything here is as good as everything else, but my favourites are the şöbiyet and the fıstıklı dürüm sarma, and in the summer months you must try their refreshing soğuk baklava.
