Copenhagen is a city that stands out for its bakery culture, which is why you come across one on almost every corner. Juno has been my favourite stop on both of my visits to Copenhagen. Be ready for long queues here, but it is absolutely worth the wait. Their iconic cardamom bun is a recommendation I would make with my eyes closed. My other favourite is the vaniljesnurre, a lovely pastry with vanilla custard in the middle. For the people you love, you can pick up the cardamom biscuits sold in metal tins, generous with both sugar and cardamom.
