The InterContinental, where we stayed on our visit to Porto, made for an enjoyable stay thanks to both its airy rooms and its location. Being so central, we were able to walk everywhere. I would particularly suggest picking a room that looks onto Praça da Liberdade. There were building works while we were there, but I imagine it is far nicer normally. Thank you also for the kindness of celebrating my birthday.
