When chocolate is mentioned in Milan, the first address that comes to mind is without doubt Fusto. Gianluca Fusto and his professional team develop original flavours in their laboratory and offer them to guests in the boutique right next door. Only one customer is received at a time, making sure that every visitor has the best possible experience. Among the chocolates I tried there were all kinds of fruit, and I even had the chance to taste balsamic and olive oil notes. The one that interested me most was “Omaggio a Milano”. This particular chocolate, whose name means Homage to Milan, carries the spirit of the city to your palate with hints of saffron risotto. Fusto breaks the familiar moulds around chocolate and opens up entirely new horizons of taste.
