The Brazilian steakhouse, also known as a churrascaria, is a meat restaurant concept particular to Brazilian cooking. One of the places offering that experience best in Nairobi is Fogo Gaucho. Sixteen different cuts of meat are carved at your table here, without limit. Add the handmade sauces that accompany them, and the savoury and sweet sides laid out on the buffet, and the whole feast becomes unforgettable. Of the two coloured cards on your table, the green one means “keep the service coming” and the red one means “we are taking a break / we are full, stop”. With this system the meat arrives at your table at whatever pace you prefer. The most curious part of the visit for me was trying crocodile meat for the first time.
