If I go to Barcelona again, the first place I will head, before even putting down my suitcase, will be El Xapanyet. Eating standing up at the bar may sound tiring, but here it turns into an experience full of pleasure. We ate the best squid in the city here. I would also suggest trying the Spanish omelette with chorizo. Cava is a common drink across the city, but I would say you should definitely have one here.
