Dursun Emmi is one of my first recommendations for anyone who wants to try Bayburt döner. The döner is sliced wafer thin, and it stands out for a plain presentation that puts the taste of the meat first and for a well-judged amount of fat. Served alongside buttered rice and the ayran they make themselves, this classic is one of those things not to be missed.
