Dönerci Vedat Usta is one of my favourite döner shops not just in İzmir but in all of Türkiye, and the döner it cooks over oak wood, soft as lokum, is a feast for the stomach. I would recommend eating it there, but the frozen version has a flavour of its own when you cook it at home.
