I know it is a bold thing to say, but Dönerci Şahin Usta is the address of the best döner I have eaten, not only in İstanbul but anywhere in the world. I generally prefer to go close to opening time. The lightly salted döner in tırnak pide and the homemade ayran that balances it come together into something unforgettable. Thanks to Sinan Hamamsarılar for the recommendation.
