Cezerye, which belongs to Ottoman cuisine (the word cezer means carrot in Arabic), is a dessert made from carrot, caster sugar and coconut. One of the places that makes this speciality, widespread especially in Mersin and Adana, the best is Dondurmacı Halil. Although the name mentions ice cream, this place stands out for regional flavours such as kireçte kabak and kerebiç.
