Dishoom

Dishoom is an Indian restaurant chain that has won over the whole of England. On my first visit in 2022 I can say that queueing for more than half an hour was worth it. Even with years in between, it made me happy to see that the portions had stayed the same and, most importantly, that the flavour had been preserved. I did not care for their fish curries, but I would recommend the chicken with my eyes closed. After the meal you can use their sweet-scented chai drinks to take the edge off the spice and settle your stomach. You can also ask for your "Matka" keyring and, on your next visit, take part in the dice game when paying the bill. If you roll a 6 the bill is on them :) (Valid until 18.00 on weekdays.)
