On the lower floor of The Berkeley hotel, Cedric Grolet is a visual feast from the moment you step inside. Seeing in the flesh the things I had so often come across on social media, I was at a loss as to which one to take. The pain suisse I ate here (a chocolate and vanilla croissant) made me forget every croissant I had eaten before. If you cannot find a seat inside, do not despair; you can take it away and enjoy it in Hyde Park.
