At Bread 41, where flavours particular to England meet Danish pastry-making, be ready to wait in a long queue. “Banoffee Pie” and “Danish Pastry” have come together and turned into the “Banoffee Danish”, full of banana and caramel. The “Sunshine Bun”, born of the pairing of “Custard” and “Cardamom Bun”, was another favourite of mine. I did not get to try the savoury things, but I can recommend the sweet ones with my eyes closed.
