Barr is one of the Copenhagen favourites not only of mine but of Dua Lipa's too. It is one of the addresses I would recommend above all to those who love red meat and are after more traditional flavours. The signature opener of the place is the waffle. The bone marrow, meanwhile, feels almost like medicine in cold weather. On my visit in 2026 Barr was being renovated, so they put on a special event using Noma's kitchen. That gave me the chance both to experience the Noma atmosphere and to enjoy Barr classics served “family style” at one long table.
