Barfüßer may be known as a brewery, but what stands out is the magnificent food of German cooking. I remember as if it were yesterday the day on our last in Reutlingen when we could not get a table, ordered a takeaway and ate chicken schnitzel just outside the door. There is a tasting board that lets you try their popular beers, but my favourite is the Weissbier, known as wheat beer.
