Bakucha Hotel was the first vineyard hotel I ever visited and remains the one I have enjoyed most. Its calm, unhurried atmosphere takes you right away from the city. I liked both the reds and the whites of the Arcadia wines they produce themselves. As luck would have it, the Alaf team were in the kitchen during my stay. The flavour of the original plates they put together stayed with me for a long time.
