Say İzmir and boyoz comes to mind; say boyoz and Alsancak Dostlar Fırını does. Here you will find more than ten different kinds, sweet and savoury, running from the classic to the inventive. I like places that hold on to traditional products while giving them new touches, and this is one of the finest examples of that. The savoury boyoz are each as good as the next, but when I want something sweet the one with muhallebi is my first choice. Add cinnamon on top and the result is something quite singular.
