7th Street Burger is one of New York's most popular burger chains. Let me be honest, I have eaten better meat, but what lifts this burger is its bun and its sauce. The bun is beautifully soft, faintly sweet and exactly the potato roll it ought to be. The sweet-sour balance of the mayonnaise-based sauce suits the burger very well, though I think they could be rather more generous with it. Cooking the fries in beef dripping gives them an incredible flavour. I did not try it myself, but there is also a secret item on the menu called "loaded fries". They pile everything that goes into the cheeseburger on top of the fries. Thanks to Arda Türkmen for the recommendation.
